The Sunbow Marvel Archive has shared more treasures from the production of The Transformers The Movie. This time we’re looking at storyboards from an early script. Though they’re not from the first script, the do shed light on some things that didn’t make it into the finished film.
This set of storyboards only covers the first third of the film. What’s great though is that this is where most of the deleted material takes place. Head on over to The Sunbow Marvel Archive to see the whole set. There’s a lot more than we can show here.
We also have an animatic edit of the cassette battle from the Battle of Autobot City. While quite similar to the final film sequence, it does have its surprises.
