Daily Prime – Hearts of Steel Optimus Prime Gets A Trailer Just In Timelines!

The Transformers Timelines Hearts of Steel Optimus Prime &amp; Starscream 2-pack is shipping now, and many are probably wondering what happened with the rather abbreviated train mode without the coal car trailer. Shown below are the original design sketches by Guido Guidi, which describe the trailer as an addition to the robot mode, with suggested battle station concept. After all, one would expect the Autobot Leader as a Steam Powered Locomotive to be HUGE! Just a guess, is the added trailer would have required a lot of extra plastic the Optimus Prime robot mode would not use, so they stopped with the engine that turns out to be perfectly accurate to the original concept on it’s own.&nbsp; Leave it to the ingenuity of the fan-base to make things right with an upgrade kit.
