Daily Prime – Studio Series 86 Optimus Prime Upgrade Kit from DNA Design

Like most everything these days, it was only a matter of time until DNA Design makes upgrades for our favorite Transformers. Today, the DK-59 Studio Series 86 Optimus Prime upgrade kit has been announced.&nbsp; What feels like a teaser more than the full upgrade, are a modest set of parts including a new head and jetpack, with three addons for Megatron’s Arm, LED Fusion Cannon, and mini Walther P38 Pistol. While a very cool upgrade, it feels like they are holding back on doing all the bells and whistles. Something tells me there is at least one other DNA Design kit in the works for Studio Series 86 Optimus Prime.Look for this set to come up for preorders in April with shipping scheduled for July (Aisa) / September (USA) 2025 at a price of $40 USD.
