We are saddened to report that G1 Transformers writer Gerry Conway has passed at 73, as confirmed by CBR.com. Mr. Conway worked in two classic G1 cartoon episodes: “Forever Is a Long Time Coming” and “Money Is Everything” (both with Carla Conway). He had an impressive career in the comic industry in both DC and Marvel. He is probably best-remembered for writing Spider-Man’s infamous “Death of Gwen Stacy” storyline. He introduced characters like the Punisher, Power Girl, Firestorm, Ms. Marvel, Man-Thing, Killer Croc, Jason Todd, and countless others. We offer our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.
