Have to say he is looking pretty damn great.
I still can’t quite wrap my head around how they managed to hide so much of the tank mode in his robot mode. And outside of his feet/lower legs being a bit off colour wise (to me at least) this is a pretty damn great job. Kudos to the designer(s).
I will say the tank mode leaves something to be desired, but it is a small quibble considering they had to go with the robot mode first and then work backwards to the vehicle mode. I wonder if there will be a fan out there who will try and make a video with this version of Megatron in the movie.
I love that he comes with his sword and a mini him in gun mode. Also love that they can be stored on his back in robot mode. Also like that he is slightly taller than Optimus and only a little shorter than Megatronus. I can’t believe how small Galvatron is in that comparison photo. I also can’t believe none of the photos compare him to Siege Megatron.
Either way this looks like a winner and a fantastic job by the designer(s). Definitely a day one preorder.
