As it was ordained, Cybertron Fest 2023 took place at the Singapore Comic Con 2023 this weekend, and there’s been more buzz coming in from all over than an army of Waspinators.
The talk of the show, of course, would have to be none other than the official reveal of the long-anticipated, highly-desired Titan Class version of Tidal Wave from the Armada Universe for the Transformers Legacy line. Ben Custom Toys on YouTube was fortunate enough to be invited out, and you can see his footage here:
For those unable to view the video for whatever reason, here are a few screen grabs, as there don’t seem to be any official photos/renders available yet:
It wasn’t shown in the video, but it seems that there’s also a compartment on the giant’s back that contains smaller replica pieces that will allow your Transformers Legacy Evolution version of Armada universe Megatron (and the expected Galvatron repaint) to assume his powered-up form from when the two Powerlink. It’s like two Tidal Waves in one! Can any Autobot coastline withstand that?
You can see what that looks like, along with the base and combined ship modes, from this video by TFanPage101:
Now, if you kept watching past the Tidal Wave footage, you might have noticed another new reveal that people have been waiting for since all the way back in the Transformers – War for Cybertron: Siege line: “Origin” Wheeljack, who’s sporting that snazzy Cybertronian mode we saw for all of two minutes and four seconds in part one of “More Than Meets The Eye.”
Of course, we all know that it doesn’t mean anything at all if “Origin” Bumblebee can’t fit in the back, but can he?
According to a glimpse of the back of the box from Unicron.com on Facebook, he can!
There was more on the show floor, and you can see Ben go hands on with much of it here:
Much, yes, but not all. Remember that Dragon Year Item we told you about last month?
Courtesy of Tformers, say hello to Crimsonflame!
