The behind the scenes look at Legacy United continues. Today we have a look at Magneus, the first of the new Armorizer subgroup. Did you ever think we’d see new Rocklords?

This Rocklord homage was an absolute dream come true for me. I’ve always been a fan of Gobots and Rocklords but to bring them into the Transformers universe has been such a treat. Watching the “My friend Sixshot” headmasters episode really linked the two universes and the team was off running.

Working with Ejima san is like having xmas morning everyweek. The transformation sequence is splendid and I feel he enjoyed getting into this character.

Picture our Star Raider Thundertron coming across a baron magmatic obsidian stone ridden planet and being surprised by an evil grunt. Is he foe, or friend, what kind of almagamation is this creature? By the beard of Alpha trion egads!! Lets get into some deets!

I tried to capture the patterned texture in offroad vehicle mode, the colors on this model are still early but is close to the final. The subtle tones and oversprays give this guy quite a unique look compared to the legacy library. He has great abilities and play when it comes to armoring up other characters and being another builder with our past Junkions, Fossilizers, weaponizers etc. He can act as a full body rock shield and he does have several opportunities for rock modes if you really want to feel nostalgic.
