Drip drip drip. Today we have our first look at the not yet officially announced Transformers Legacy Evolution Twincast and Metalhawk!
Twincast is obviously a repaint of Kingdom/Legacy Leader Class Blaster. What’s less expected is that it uses an alternate smirking face found on a Blaster last year. We were surprised when it wasn’t used for Shattered Glass Blaster, but it seems that its time has finally come.
Our look at Metalhawk is far from complete, but it answers what we wanted to know. It appears to be a remold of Studio Series 86 Cyclonus, is heavily G1 inspired rather than something more IDW based, and appears fully robotic without a trace of the organic Pretender shell. Yes, a Pretender is finally allowed to have his own robot mode back. Will this be a one-off or the start of a trend? Stay tuned.
