Had your fill of new Transformers news yet? Of course you haven’t! That’s why you’re here, right?

Let’s see if this whets your appetite for an hour or two.

First up is the latest of the Takara Tomy Transformers Masterpiece Trainbots, Doctor Yellow, who is now listed at the Takara Tomy Mall!

Per the website, you can expect this beauty to pull into the station in Late October of 2024, and a ticket will cost you 23,650 yen, or about $158.46 USD as of this writing.

Further information goes on to say (via Google Translate):

“Trainbot Yamabuki”, which transforms into Dr. Yellow of the 925 type 0 series S1 formation, is now available as MPG-08 in the highly popular MPG Trainbot!

Doctor Yellow, which was released as Diaclone Train Robo in the 1980s, has been reprinted as an MPG series product!

“Trainbot Yamabuki” is transformed from Doctor Yellow of the 925 type 0 series S1 formation.

The main body is based on “Trainbot Yukikaze”, and new 925 type body parts, NEW head, and head parts for Shiden are newly manufactured.

Six Trainbots will be combined into Raiden, but this time you can replace them with “Trainbot Yukikaze” and combine them.

By replacing Raiden’s left leg and replacing Raiden’s head parts with Shiden’s head parts, it becomes “Raiden Special Formation Shiden Y”.

Furthermore, if you replace and combine Raiden’s “Trainbot Shoki” with the separately sold “Trainbot Ginou”, it will become “Raiden Special Formation Shiden”.

Masu.

Elsewhere, on the world of Cybertron, we’ve got some new pics from Hasbro PR of the upcoming release of Transformers Legacy United Origin Wheeljack (try saying that five times fast).

In addition to the packaging and expected vehicle mode pic, we can also see that Jackie’s (can I call this version of him that? It was more of a Prime thing, but still) armor/piece of Cybertronian road can add another slash to that, as it can form up as wings on his back, and that’s a fact!

Unite your favorite characters from across the world of TRANSFORMERS robots into your collection with the TRANSFORMERS Legacy United Voyager Class Origin Wheeljack action figure! Inspired by the animated series, The TRANSFORMERS, this 7-inch figure converts between robot and hovercar modes in 32 steps. Includes blaster, blast shield, and 2 rotor blade accessories that can attach to the figure in both modes and assemble the 3 included road pieces to pose the figure traveling on the roads of Cybertron. Features articulated head, arms, and legs for awesome action poses.

Celebrate the last 40 years of TRANSFORMERS history with TRANSFORMERS Legacy action figures. TRANSFORMERS Legacy opens the portal to a whole new universe of – More Than Meets the Eye – bringing together every TRANSFORMERS generation like you’ve never seen before. Collect and combine different characters to create your ideal Legacy lineup (each sold separately, subject to availability). Pre-order info coming soon.

The price for this long-awaited final piece of the More Than Meets The Eye Part 1 Autobot trio will run you a cool $34.99 USD when he touches down on Earth this Spring. Inquire at your local retailer about the current Shanix conversion rate.

Speaking of Wheeljack (as we often are), we finally have some pics from an eBay seller named “Transmimi” that not only show us what the upcoming toon-accurate version of the Autobots’ answer to Doc Brown will look like, but also how he compares to the version from Transformers: War For Cybertron: Earthrise version!

That’s actually only a small sample of all the pics they’ve got in their eBay listing, where the item sits at $40 USD and no bids, which honestly isn’t a bad deal. At least, if you own everyone else in the 5-pack and gotta get your ‘Jack on, because you just know the whole thing is probably going to be close to triple-digits, at least.

Feeling jacked for ‘Jack? Or have the wheels fallen off this release, as far as your concerned. Not to keep railing on about it, but you can head on over to the “Transformers Legacy Toyline” thread in our forums!
