Various sources, including Collider and movie commentator Erik Davis, report that a new animated Transformers movie is currently listed for release on July 19, 2024. This project is one of many that have been talked about for a while, but now we have a release date attached.
Davis reports that this “UNTITLED TRANSFORMERS ANIMATION” is part of Paramount’s 2024 slate of films, alongside a rescheduled Mission: Impossible 8, now pegged for a June 8, 2024 release.
This is all we know about this at the moment — it’s not clear yet whether this is still the “Transformers One” project headed by Josh Cooley, a new standalone project, or a tie-in/follow-up to Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, which is now set for 2023.
