Hasbro has absolutely come out swinging on day one of SDCC 2023! No wallets are safe as multiple lines get updates and new releases, with our favorite robots in disguise set to destroy budgets for months to come.
Transformers Legacy Evolution sees more 2-packs and special releases. Armada gets some love with Powerlinx Hot Shot (and Jolt!), G1 sees a new Siege mold-based Seeker in Nacelle as well as the previously-seen Erial/Dion War Dawn 2-pack, and the IDW era gets some representation in the Deadeye Duel 2-pack (Autobot Javelin vs Ascenticon Kaskade) and Nova Prime. Finally, coming up is a massive Menasor multipack featuring toy-based Stunticon decos!
Studio Series has more Rise of the Beasts representation, with official images for previously-revealed Mirage and Optimus Primal. Even better, there’s Exo-Suit Noah Diaz, a Novakane partner for Freezer, and a revisited Nightbird. Finally, the 2007 movie that started it all gets more love, with the Decepticons (Megatron, Barricade, Starscream, Blackout — sorry, Brawl) getting their turn in a multipack!
Studio Series 86 gets its second dose of RIBFIR with the Red One (Frenzy here), Voyager Ratchet, and its first-ever Commander class figure in Ultra Magnus!
Shattered Glass Collection continues in style, with TWO Botcon exclusives returning: Rodimus and Sideswipe (who comes with Mini-Con partner Whisper, whaaaat)!
Finally, of course, there’s the intensely-received Robosen Grimlock!
