Bits and pieces of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts images and info seem to be slipping out this week, right around the time that the movie was originally planned to hit theaters. Movie-related plans for the year are still unclear at this point (although we’ve gotten some cracking Studio Series stuff in the meantime), but there have been some interesting tidbits that have surfaced of late.

First, the ROTB Optimus Primal M.A.S.K crossover mask, which has made the rounds on Transformers sites and social media and hearkens back to the days of converting DVD cases while one-upping them at the same time with a MASK with a robot mode.

And then there’s Bumblebee, or supposedly the Rise of the Beasts model for him, popping up on a “transformers russia” account on Russian social media site VK.com. Bee appears next to what seems to be vintage BW Optimus Primal art, and seems to have detailing that blends his solo movie rounded-off shapes and his classic Camaro shapes (which would line up with what we’ve seen of his rugged ROTB altmode).

The account also has this text posted, which when run through the ol’ Google Babel fish gives us  this:

“Today, I, Vector Prime, the guardian of time and space, will let earthlings look into the future of the MCU and learn 5 facts about it.

Fact 1. The release of the next film is scheduled for June 24, 2022.

Fact 2. Beast Wars and Bumblebee stories are being developed.

Fact 3. Animal Alliance Bumblebee movie about a robbery set from Brooklyn to South America is reportedly being prepared. Probably dedicated to Beast Wars.

Fact 4. Another film is being prepared, which has nothing to do with the previous ones.

Fact 5. Work is underway on an animated prequel to the universe. The story will unfold on Cybertron and will tell about Optimus and Megatron.

Tell us which project you are most looking forward to and why. Is it possible that the films form several parallel universes?”
