The Beast Wars have ended, and the Maximals are returning home with their prisoners. However, Megatron breaks free and causes the ship to crash out of transwarp onto a strange yet familiar world. There in the land known as the Kanto region, they scan the nearby beasts for new alt modes. The local creatures, known as Pokemon, grant them new abilities to wage their eternal war, and new allies to fight for and with. The Pokemon Battles have begun.
