This just in, veteran actor Ron Perlman will join the cast of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts! Read on for more details!
According to Collider, Perlman, known for his hundreds of roles, will be playing the role of Optimus Primal, who was originally brought to life by Gary Chalk in the classic Beast Wars tv series. While it would be interesting to see Gary Chalk and Peter Cullen together on the big screen, Perlman should be awesome in this role.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will be set in the 1990s featuring the Maximals, Predacons, and Terrorcons on a global fight on Earth along with the Autobots and Decepticons. The film has already announced stars Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback, with Steven Caple Jr. directing.
